You must have visited many of the blogs , forum's, websites, and comments just to know the trick for railway reservation in rush season's , when there on "irctc.co.in" it shows 200 to 400 waiting or 100 or more RAC.
But here i got a trick that will show you how you can reserve a ticket in this peak time through IRCTC website.
But if you are thinking that i am talking about TATKAL reservation then you are absolutely wrong.
Actually this can also be said as a LOOP HOLE of Indian railways that can be too useful for us. And before we go ahead i should tell you that i had already tried this trick for my own tickets and trust me it works. Following is the experience how i got this trick while booking a ticket, and while reading this you will also understand how to do it.
One day my mom told me to book a single ticket from Mumbai to Indore for next month. So i logged in to irctc.co.in as usual and started searching for the availability. As the availability page opened it showed 96 waiting. I was sure that this will not get confirmed till next month but just to take a chance i booked it. It took 5 min to fill the reservation form and complete the payment formality, and finally when i saw the ticket i was amazed to see the confirm ticket on my screen. Now you must be thinking that its a joke same as i thought when i saw ticket, but actually there was a logic that i came to know after reading some rules & regulations of Indian Railway, and the rules says that there is some quota or percent of seats reserved for single ladies and the ticket which i booked was from this ladies quota.
Now you must be thinking that were is the trick here for gents or men or guys? But here is the main trick. There is another rule from Indian Railway that you can transfer the ticket within your family i.e the person to whom ticket is to be transferred should be in blood relation. And this transfer can be done simply on a ticket window.
So i think you must have understood the whole idea and if not then i will explain this into simple words step by step.
1. Suppose you want to book a ticket for you, then do the following......
2. Book a single ticket on the name of any ladies of your family. (lady should be in your blood relation). this ticket will automatically get confirmed even if the it shows waiting in website as there is some ladies quota reserved for single ladies.
3. Now take this ticket with proper identity proof to any railway reservation ticket window and tell them to transfer this ticket to your name.
4) And here is your ticket confirmed without any extra expense or without any tatkal charges.
